What if a clock could count down to the exact moment you meet your soul mate? Heartbreak is a thing of the past in this alternate version of present day Los Angeles in which a revolutionary bio-technological wrist implant called the TiMER can tell you how many days, hours, minutes and seconds until true love enters your life. But Oona O’Leary (Emma Caulfield, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) faces the rare dilemma of a blank TiMER. Her soul mate – whoever and wherever he is – hasn’t had a TiMER implanted. So Oona searches for her perfect match via process of elimination, tentatively dating TiMER-less men and convincing them to get TiMERs, only to have her hopes crushed time and time again. Staring down the barrel of thirty and tired of waiting for her would-be life partner to get off the dime, Oona breaks her own rules and falls for Mikey (John Patrick Amedori, GOSSIP GIRL) a charming and inappropriately young supermarket clerk destined to meet his true love in four months. Finally Oona experiences the unpredictable and exhilarating hot mess that is love. But with her comically TiMER-obsessed mother (JoBeth Williams, POLTERGEIST) breathing down her neck and her smart-ass sister (Michelle Borth, TELL ME YOU LOVE ME) advocating a love-‘em-and-leave-‘em philosophy, Oona can only ignore the ticking clock for so long. Newcomer Jac Schaeffer's smart and delightful romantic comedy asks the question… would you want to know?
