The Face of the Faceless

"The Face of the Faceless" is a Hindi feature film based on the real life of Blessed Sr. Rani Maria, who championed the cause of humanity through her selfless service. One of the most extraordinary women of our times chose to stand up for the dignity of the most vulnerable in society: women, children, the landless, and laborers. She became the face of the faceless and the voice of the voiceless. Rani Maria was murdered in a knife attack, and her assassin was sentenced to prison. Rani Maria’s mother kissed the hands of her daughter’s assassin as a sign of forgiveness and accepted him as one of them.

An unbelievable but true story of forgiveness, the film is directed by Shaison P. Ouseph, an internationally acclaimed award-winning filmmaker, and produced by Sandra D’souza Rana, philanthropist and award winner of the Hon. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Bharat Puraskar 2023, under the banner Tri Light Creations. Along with the sharp cinematography of Mahesh Aney (a National Award winner), a cast of more than 150 talented artists from 16 different states of India has played their roles to the hilt. The film has already garnered 45 prestigious international prizes.
