NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST

CHOCOLATE brings us into the life of a suburban housewife who suffers from early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and finds herself wandering about the streets of downtown Los Angeles, finally reaching the dangerous and heavily populated homeless area named Skid Row. This bittersweet story demands the audience to face the joined paths of two undeniable realities, a mental disorder conjuncted with the cruel realness of the homeless living in the city of Angels.

In addition to an impactful storyline, CHOCOLATE is also very impressive due to the reality in which the actors played the characters. A stunning performance by Piercey Dalton (BEST ACTRESS at FirstGlance Film Festival 2017) , João Bounassar, Amy Argyle (BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS at London IFF 2017) and Talia Bacha. BEST DRAMA at FirstGlance Film Festival 2017, FILM HEALS AWARD at Manhattan Film Festival 2017; ”The award is given to filmmakers that use the power of film to promote peace, justice, equality, and humanity. A film that has the unique ability to
raise awareness and bring change”.
