Breaking Boundaries is a feature-length documentary that focuses on the journey of black Californian teenager, Nastasya Generalova, as she attempts to become the first African-American from the USA to compete in the 2020 Olympic Games in the traditionally white sport of rhythmic gymnastics. Nastasya’s story is one of resilience, ambition, and breaking through racial and systemic barriers in a traditionally white sport.
