At the time of this release in November 2014 Rickey Jackson was the longest wrongfully incarcerated person in U.S. history, spending 39 years on death row and in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. In this boldly cinematic, award-winning documentary, Mr. Jackson returns to the actual prison where he was sent in 1976 to participate in reenactments alongside actors and his real-life false accuser while narrating in his own words as he guides the younger version of himself (Mario Beverly) from death row to freedom.
