Surviving Peace
Surviving Peace
Surviving Peace delves deeply into the core issues driving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It challenges the conventional wisdom of the underlying reasons for the conflict and what solutions may be possible. The film was made in an attempt to encourage new and fresh thinking for peace. The film features candid interviews with major Israeli and Palestinian leaders, government officials and thinkers, some of whom deliver startling admissions. It also features private citizens who express their opinions and prejudices.
The film asks why the Israelis and the Palestinians—both extremely resourceful and innovative people in every other field of endeavor—suffer from the stagnation of thinking and lack of imagination and innovation when it comes to living in peace.
