FAQ’s
Does your Ticketing server utilize a secure connection to protect
my Credit Card information?
Yes. The Ticketing Service
we use utilizes standard Secure 128 Bit encryption.
I want to purchase tickets for a film, but the Showtime is not
listed. Why is this?
Generally advanced sale tickets are available about 3 days ahead of
time. If a show time is not listed on our website, rest assured that
no tickets have been sold as of yet. Internet sales and Walk up box office
sales become available simultaneously.
When I select a Showtime, I get the following message: “ERROR:
THEATRE CANNOT BE CONTACTED”.
The most likely cause is our Internet ticketing Server is temporarily
offline. Try to make your purchase a little later.
After I enter my credit card info I get a message saying “There
was an error charging your card… Please try another card” What’s
the problem?
You may have made an error typing in your Credit Card info, or entered
information in the wrong format.
- The Credit Card number should be entered without dashes, hyphens
or spaces in between the numbers. (For example: 12345678901234)
- The expiration date must be entered in a “mmyy” format.
In other words, February 2004 should be entered “0204”.
Slashes or hyphens should not be used.
- The Billing address and Zip must match the Card number on file with
their credit card company. If it does not match, the transaction won’t
be approved.
- The Name on the Card must match the name as it is printed on the
card exactly. (Include a middle initial if there is one on your card)
- If all of this fails and it still doesn’t work, please try
a different card and/or call your credit card company to inquire if
there are any problems with your account.
I got to the sales confirmation screen, hit the <Purchase
Tickets> button, and my screen went blank… nothing happened.
Did my sale go through?
As a general rule: If the “Ticket Purchase Confirm” page
(the page with the bar codes) does not come up on the screen, the sale
did not go through. Another way to check to see if a transaction went
through is to check the email address you entered to see if you got ticket
purchase confirmation e-mail. If neither of these events happened, then
your sale did not go through. We suggest trying your purchase again.
I got to the ticket purchase confirmation screen, (the page
with the bar-codes) but I did not get confirmation e-mail. Did my sale
go through?
Yes, if the confirmation page came up (with the bar-codes) your sale
was completed. If you didn’t get the confirmation e-mail, you may
have inadvertently made a typo when entering your address, or your e-mail
program may have filtered the confirmation e-mail into a “junk”, “bulk”,
or “trash” folder. It all depends on the settings of your
e-mail program.
I am not able to print out the confirmation page with the bar
codes. How do I pick up my tickets?
You can bring the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets
to the box office or the front door of the theatre.
I purchased tickets On-line, but I am unable to go. Will
my credit card be charged even if I don’t pick up my tickets?
Yes. Your credit card is charged at the time that you make the purchase,
not when you pick the tickets up.
I want to purchase a large number of tickets. Is there a way
to purchase more than 6 at a time?
You can only purchase 6 tickets at a time on-line. If you need to purchase
more than that, you can do so by making separate transactions. But, please
note… most credit card companies have an anti-fraud service that
detects unusual credit card activity. Your credit card company may prevent
multiple transactions from going through back to back. If you need to
buy a large number of tickets, we recommend calling your credit card
company ahead of time to let them know you will be doing so, or making
your purchase in person at the theatre box office.
Can I purchase Student Tickets via the Internet?
No, unfortunately not. You can only get a Student discount in person
at the box office with a valid Student ID. We have no way to check for
Student ID’s via our website.
I purchased tickets On-Line and I made a mistake/can’t
come to the movie. What should I do?
You may get a refund for On-Line ticket purchases at the Theatre Box
Office up to Showtime on the day of the show purchased. Simply present
your confirmation page, or the credit card used for the purchase, at
the Box Office and ask for a refund for the tickets that are not needed.
If you are unable to get to the theatre to get a refund: You may
get a refund over the phone by calling the theatre directly. (The theatre’s
phone numbers are listed below) You must call the theatre at least an
hour before the start time of the movie purchased. You will need to give
your credit card number and expiration date over the phone to the Manager.
The Manager will then print up the tickets at the theatre, then refund
the purchase price back onto your Credit Card. Please note: When the
theatre is busy there may be times when the Manager will need to take
your phone number and call you back to do the refund. We like our Managers
be on the floor of the theatre when the busy films are coming in, rather
than sitting in an office. We appreciate your patience in this regard.
I have followed all the directions
to a “T” and I still can’t buy tickets. Crazy error
messages keep coming up. I’ve even tried multiple credit cards,
to no avail. What now?
We have found that some
web-browsers that are more than 2 or 3 years old occasionally will give
our customers problems. We suggest upgrading your web-browser to a newer
version.
